You won't regret learning how to build and update your own website.

In 1999 I learned how to build websites, for fun.

At the time I was in college and shortly after I started my first "business". It's one I actually rarely talk about because it didn't even feel like a business at the time, but it was.

I made beaded bracelets and necklaces and I sold them at craft shows. I made a website to showcase the jewelry.

The first thing I sold online was soap. In 2002. From a website I created in HTML.

Years later I sold services. I sold other physical products. I eventually started selling digital products and courses in 2007.

In 2010 I started teaching website design.

You see what's happening here? Over and over and over again this skill moved with me. Through every business model, through every pivot, through every change or season and reason.

I'm STILL using it 27 years later. THAT is some incredible ROI.

But it's not even my own story I love the most.

It's the embroidery coach who was moving her business online and took my course 20 years ago, built a successful income online and became a leader in her industry because she had web skills.

It's the VA who took my course 10 years ago and then added more income for her family by doing website updates, blog posts and maintenance for her clients.
