I got a reply to my email that I put 2024 as the year.

Well here's the story:

I'm absolutely NOT a time-traveler and we can't go back to 2024 and make 2025 the best year yet - sadly.

What we CAN do is make 2026 AWESOME. No matter the economy, the mood on Instagram or the things people say about AI taking over the world.

Here's where I mentioned 2024 in the last email. Yes it was a mistake:

"But I'm still using things she taught me in 2008. And in 2012. And it 2018. and now in 2024."

OMG I made a mistake!
What now? Hide in embarrassment? Hire an editor stat?

NAW... I just move on. I'm human and that's a good thing!

Seeing a mistake in that email tells you four good things:

1. I treat you like a FRIEND. When I talk to my friends we make mistakes in our words/emails/texts on the regular. No big deal, no editing, correcting or trying to look "perfect". Just showing up as we are. That's how I speak with you, like a real person! Screw this pretend perfection that is carried on like some charade we're all part of and all know is going on!

2. I'm not using AI in my emails - though I guess AI makes mistakes, too - hmm even robots make mistakes!

3. I'm not afraid to make mistakes. I know the message of that last email was clear. I am your fearless coach ready to help you ROCK 2026. We all get this from the email, right?

4. I smartly repurpose my emails. Yep that was from 2024, one year ago. Not all my emails are repurposed but that email was GOOD and so I edited it (and actually LEFT that 2024 reference on purpose because it's when I did do the coaching - it's the "now" part I should have removed). Repurposing is a smart way to save time and make sure your best emails get new life.
